This is more of a city hike with the trailhead located right up the hill behind the Capitol Building. It offers some impressive views of the Salt Lake Valley and the Great Salt Lake. This is where Brigham Young and some other men went to map out the city and decide where to build the temple. Before the hike we ate lunch at a grassy park near the trailhead.
Even the views from the park were amazing!
