Donut Falls

Ok, I feel like I should just start a blog about all the great family hikes in Utah! Here's the latest hike we've found, and this may be our last until the weather warms up again. Jake and Marissa were in town, so we loaded up and went to a place called Donut Falls. As we got closer to the trailhead I started getting nervous when we saw more and more snow on the side of the road. I'm glad I brought along extra jackets! The boys were giddy when they got out and saw all the snow! They haven't seen any snow since before Paige was born, so it was all new to them. They will just die when we have mounds of it in our own backyard! As much as we tried to keep them out of the snow and dry, they just were having so much fun! The hike was beautiful!Somehow this girl manages to sleep through all our adventures!
The lovely couple :)

And of course, with Jake, just hiking in the snow was not adventure enough! He brought along all his equipment and built a zip line along the trail on the hike back. Most of us were too freezing to appreciate his efforts, but Benson sure had a lot fun!

Looks like a cool hike. The zip line looked fun but I didn't see Byron on it.

Man it is hard to see all the beautiful scenery in your pictures then walk outside to cactus and dirt....And that fish all the way on the bottom is a nice trophy. Glad to see see how much fun you guys had with family in town.
