The other day I was walking through the fabric store with the girls and we ran into the Valentine's prints. Paige and I couldn't resist the festive array of pink and red, so I gave in and bought a yard to turn into skirts for my girlies. We whipped these up Saturday while the boys attempted to cheer on the Cardinals. So here are my cute girls all dressed up in their new skirts after church.

Game Night
Sometimes I feel like hopefully all the good things I do will cancel out the bad things I do and things just somehow end up all evened out. I hope my kids will remember things like Sunday night Yahtzee and not me yelling at them to shower for the 500th time. (This week's goal is not to yell. :)) So here are the pics of our fun game of Yahtzee. I'm so glad Byron had the idea to pull out the games at the end of our "day of rest". It was actually a lot of fun and the kids all really got into it! Here's to more Sunday game nights!

Congrats!
Jake and Marissa were married on Saturday! We are thrilled to have Marissa officially in the family now. They are one of our favorite couples to hang out with, so we are so happy that the deal is sealed! A big congrats to the lovely couple! Wish we could have been there to help celebrate the special day! We love you both!!
Now You See It...
When I sprayed the deep red and well set in cherry stains on Paige's shirt with my new stain remover, I told myself that if it actually got this stain out I would be willing to do a commercial for the product. I was already telling myself that the shirt had lived a good life, it was getting small anyways, etc. This picture was taken before I even washed the shirt. I was amazed that the stain had already disappeared. So here I am with a testimonial for Spray and Wash Max. I won't be afraid to spend an extra dollar or two anymore to get something that actually does the job that I need.

Snow Boogie
So there are a few different sledding hills nearby and we've been asking around to know which was the best place to go. We checked out the first spot but the hills were pretty bare since it hasn't snowed here in a while. Up the back of the mountain is a school with some crazy hills that we heard were great but not really for beginners. Well, we decided to give it a try anyways and it was a blast. Even I was pretty nervous to go down my first time but it was so much fun! I can't believe Byron sent Paige down by herself. Since the snow is old and packed down it was basically just a big field of ice, so we had to be careful even just walking around so not to slip and fall. Needless to say these slick bottomed sleds gained some wild speed going down these steep icy hills. Thankfully no injuries to report, just lots of screams and laughs! Here are our favorite clips from the afternoon.
