Human Color

I think it's so funny how every time my kids ask for a peach colored crayon they call it human color! Clever!

Happy Thanksgiving!

One of the best things I did when we moved up here was start a little playgroup for Paige and the girls her age in our neighborhood. She loves it and so do I. I guess I feel like a few hours apart each week is good for both of us, especially since she is the one right now that tries my patience the most. And I mean that in the nicest way. :) Anyways, they always to something fun and this week we hosted the playgroup. These little cupcake turkeys are what we came up with and they turned out so cute and easy. Everyone ended up with chocolate frosing on their faces (not that there's anything wrong with that), but we all had a great time!My mom has a tradition before Thanksgiving every year she puts a feather-less turkey up. It is our job to fill the turkey with feathers with things we are thankful for written on them. Here is our version as we carry on the tradition. Its fun to hear what kids are thankful for. My favorites are Benson said "shelter", Clark said "vegetables" and Paige said "flowers".

Where There's A Will...

I guess when I really want something I'll find a way to get it. Bailey is moving more into the sitting up and playing with things stage, so I thought an exersaucer would be more fun to her than the swing now. Toys and things aren't really in our budget right now, but I sold some old baby clothes that have been hanging out in the garage and the baby swing to a 2nd hand store and traded them for an exersaucer. Great trade if you ask me! Mom's happy....and Bailey likes it too!

Namaste

Clark is my new yoga buddy. He's pretty intent on following the video to the t. Check out his form.

Can't Get Enough

Benson is die hard when it comes to playing in the snow. I'm pretty sure we are the only ones on the block with shoveled grass!

To Grandma, Love Paige

This is mostly for the grandmas. It makes me smile whenever I hear her singing. She learned this song for the primary program they had today at church. I love the end...she says, "this is my secret beauty." So sweet!
