I have a couple of friends who's husbands are in Iraq. Both of them basically got married, got preggo, and then shipped their husbands off! They've spent more of their married lives apart than together. These people definitely make sacrifices to preserve freedom, even if (hopefully), that sacrifice is not their lives.
