I just made a list of things I need to do and want to do today before the kids get home from school. Blogging was not on either list, yet here I am trying to catch up on our summer happenings. Well, way back in June Byron was presenting at a conference in Denver, so we all tagged along and had a great time! It was my first time to Colorado and it was such a beautiful place!
Even the drive was beautiful! Once we crossed into Colorado the highway followed the Colorado River most of the way up to Denver. The river was SO full it looked like it was about to pour onto the road! We also drove through Vail, which was gorgeous!
We saw some mountain goats on the side of the road. So neat!
We found this little ice cream shop around the corner from where we stayed and ended up going back every day we were there! So yummy!!
Walked through City Park
The Wizard's Chest, a huge toy store with fun for big kids and little kids alike!
Got some Rock Pile (cheap seats) tickets to the Rockies Game
We parked at the bottom of a big hill and a guy offered to take us all up on the back of his bike for 5 bucks. Definitely money well spent!!

Thanks for your post on CO! I've been to all those places ~ It brought back so many fond memories. If you ever go again...you must visit the ZOO it's seriously SO good! And hey...you should come visit MT sometime :)
I love the Harris faces too! Good effort on the list making, I hope you got some of them crossed off. I am thankful that you took the time to blog so I get my fix.
