My boys have really been into birds lately, so we were very excited to see this Great Horned Owl and her chicks in the side of the cliff near the waterfalls as we walked along the trail above. It was so neat to be able to see them so close!
How CUTE!! It's amazing that the mommy will let you get so close without flying away. That's a mom for you.. at all costs, protecting her babies! But.. it may be the dad? I bet the kids loved it!!!!
