Well, somehow we adopted a few new pets around here and they are turning out to be a little more high maintenance than I would like! First, Byron's brother, Jake is staying here and he has a 40 gallon fish tank that we have really enjoyed having in our family room. Byron decided to add another fish called a needle fish. It is really cool looking, almost like a miniature swordfish. Anyways, he eats minnows and some of the other fish steal his food...there is an eel-looking fish that eats so many it looks like his belly is about to burst! So we go to Petsmart twice a week to pick up minnows for the feeding frenzy!

Then about a month ago Byron found a lizard in one of the houses he is building in Casa Grande. (The same houses where he caught the rattlesnake!) So he decided it would be cool to bring it home for the boys to see and he even picked up a 10 gallon tank on the way home for him to live in. Pretty neat, but this guy eats crickets, so we pick up crickets at Petsmart too! So Petsmart used to be a novelty and we would go check out the birds, reptiles and miniature rodents (eeeew!) and it was an exciting end to a day of shopping. Now the employees there just smile when they see us walk in as we place our order for more crickets and minnows! Maybe a dog would be a better pet!
