Byron was out in Casa Grande the other day for work and just happened upon a rattle snake. Ok, well maybe he was looking for one, but he actually trapped and killed one! Crazy! So he brought it home and read up on how to skin a snake and we all got to watch the whole thing. It was 3 feet long and even had 2 semi-digested mice inside. Gross, but it was pretty exciting. We called all the neighbors over to take a look and after a few days of drying and tanning, the snake skin looks awesome. Maybe we can make it into some boots for the boys....or maybe a purse?

Dude, skinning a snake?!!!! I don't think I could have watched the whole skinning process. If it were a different kind of animal, then I could! I hate snakes! But maybe on a purse or something it wouldn't be bad! :) You'll have to let me know what you do with the snake skin! You guys crack me up! Miss you!

I can't believe that!!! I think that it is so funny that he would come home and figure out how to do that on his own! AND I can't believe that you all watched the whole process. I don't think that I would have been able to stomach that! I am sure that Benson and Clark thought that it was great!
